The Holographic Fabric of Space The Holographic Fabric of Space occurs when a three-dimensional volume of space is determined by a preexisting 2-dimensional space. The original space of the installation is river rapids with all rocks underwater. As the river recedes, the rocks rise into the volume of space, creating a 3-dimensional spacial arrangement, and a transformation of space. This establishes the concept for the holographic fabric of space. The vertical rocks are arranged in parallel formations which create holographic spaces as a form. The form in turn can be viewed from various perspectives, presenting a different configuration of the holographic form of space. The installation is a netwrk of interconnecting rocks, placed in straight lines, which create the illusion of curved spaces. Each rock defines the fabric and form of the Hollographic Spaces.
